Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, chaired the board meeting today.

The board reviewed the secretariat-general’s memorandum on the names and works of the 200 applicants for the award in its fifth edition.

It also reviewed the secretariat-general’s memorandum on the nominations for the jury and studied profiles.

The board considered the appropriate arrangements for the winner’s ceremony in light of the current health situation.

HH Shaikh Mohammed praised the efforts made by the board members to support the Award’s work and thanked the secretariat-general for the research efforts and the value of the information provided.
