عن جائزة عيسى

أسست جائزة عيسى لخدمة الإنسانية في العام 2009 م من قبل حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، ملك مملكة البحرين ، حيث تمنح كل سنتين لشخصية أو مؤسسة يتم اختيارها عبر سلسلة من الإجراءات الدقيقة والمحكّمة من قبل فريق من الخبراء. ويمنح الفائز بالجائزة شهادة تقديرية، وميدالية من الذهب الخاص، وجائزة مالية قدرها مليون دولار أمريكي.

أطلق اسم المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى أمير البحرين الراحل الشيخ عيسى بن سلمان آل خليفة على الجائزة، احتفاءً بجهوده المتفانية من أجل الإنسانية، وبدوره المتميز في نهضة ورفعة بلاده.

حكمة رجل في بناء دولة

كرجل دولة ماهر، تميزت فترة حكم الشيخ عيسى بتكريس جل اهتمامه ووقته نحو إدارة الموارد المحدودة للبحرين وتقديم أفكار مبتكرة في مجالات التنمية الاقتصادية، والعلاقات الدولية والرفاه الاجتماعي. وأكثر ما يتذكره الناس عنه هو شخصيته الرائعة التي برزت من خلال بناء علاقات وشراكات قوية مع الأفراد من جميع المستويات. وحتى بعد وفاته، لا يزال يشكل رمزاً للرجل والحاكم الملهم.

تسعى جائزة عيسى لخدمة الإنسانية الى تقدير ومكافأة إسهامات أولئك الذين يريدون تغيير العالم نحو الأفضل من خلال علمهم وعملهم الدؤوب المتفاني والمبتكر الذي يساعد في استعادة الثقة بالروح الإنسانية الخيرة، وفي تحقيق عالم أفضل إنسانياً لأجيال المستقبل.

الرسالة

تأسست جائزة عيسى لخدمة الإنسانية بهدف خلق الوعي بالمساعي الإنسانية غير العادية عبر العالم، وإلهام وتشجيع المزيد من الناس لتحقيق التفوق في هذه المساعي، وتكريم المنظمات والأفراد الذين أظهروا قدرات متفردة في التأثير على العالم.
