Manama, June 18 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Board of Trustees Chairman of the Isa Service to Humanity Award chaired the sixth meeting of the award’s third session.

All the members of the board and both deputy chairpersons were also present.

The board discussed various matters on its agenda and reviewed the memorandum of the General Secretariat regarding proposed arrangements for announcing the name of the award winner of the current session and notification about the date for organizing the royal ceremony in November under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Award, to deliver the prize to the winner which will take place in the main hall of Isa Cultural Centre.

The board voiced its appreciation of the international arbitration panel lauding their sharp vision in considering the efforts of the award nominees and shortlisting the potential winners. The board also praised the field search led by the General Secretariat for potential winners, shortlisting them and the provision of sufficient information of their works.

The board reviewed the names of nominated VIPs including global humanitarian leaders as well as inviting the shortlisted candidates.
