
Manama, July 9 (BNA): The Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity held a meeting chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity.
The meeting reviewed a report prepared by the Award’s General Secretariat, which followed a field visit by Ali Abdullah Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Award, and Ali Al Aradi, Board Member, to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
The visit examined the humanitarian work, projects, and initiatives carried out by one of the charitable institutions nominated for the sixth edition of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, and assessed their compliance with the Award’s criteria and standards.
The Award’s General Secretariat is continuing the selection process for the winning nominee for the award ceremony, which is held every two years under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
