HM King hails Bahraini-Moroccan ties

Manama, Jan. 14(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at Al-Sakhir Palace, His Excellency Mohamed Benaissa, former Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Secretary-general of Assilah Forum Foundation and member of the jury arbitrating the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, marking his visit to Bahrain.

HM the King welcomed HE Mohamed Benaissa, hailing strong fraternal and historical relations binding Bahrain and Morocco. He lauded the efforts exerted by HM King Mohammed VI of Morocco, as well as his crucial role in consolidating joint ties, wishing Morocco and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity. HM the King commended the role played by HE Mohamed Benaissa to bolster cultural cooperation, hailing his efforts as member of the jury arbitrating the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, marking his visit to Bahrain.

HM the King commended the growing pivotal role of culture in building the civil society, strengthening its national identity and supporting the contribution of its citizens and institutions to achieve comprehensive development goals. HE Mohamed Benaissa expressed thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the warm welcome, hailing strong fraternal relations and solid cooperation on all levels.
